What is Developer Student Clubs?
A Developer Students Club is a Google recogznied student body at a college which directly reports to Google for their activities and is supported by the tech giant. A DSC conducts workshops, seminars and other fun activities which help the students connect with Google. And we give Google interview referrals too!

Google collaborates with university students who are passionate about growing developer communities and support them with starting student clubs on their campuses. DSC NITJ is the official Google recognized students' club at NITJ.
Formation of DSC Core Team and Committee at NITJ
Developer Student Club is an initiative where Google collaborates with passionate university students and provides them with the opportunity to grow their knowledge on developer technologies and gain relevant industry experience by solving the real world problems and showcase their prototypes and solutions to help solve those problems.
The Developer Student Club of NIT Jalandhar was formulated on 27th February 2019 at the Electronics and Communication department under the guidance of Dr Pawan Kumar Verma and Dr Sukwinder Singh.
The round 1 for the selection of interested candidates was based on tests under different domains such as the Internet of Things(IoT), Machine Learning(ML) etc. Then the shortlisted candidates were called for an interview which was structured according to their field of specialization. Dr Sukwinder Singh was the interviewer for the students under Machine Learning and Dr Pawan Kumar Verma was the interviewer for the students under the Internet of Things.
Developer Student Clubs

These DSCs provide students with the opportunity to: Grow their knowledge on developer technologies and more through peer to peer workshops and events. Gain relevant industry experience by solving problems for local organizations with technology based solutions. Showcase their prototypes and solutions to their local community and industry leaders. Google Developers supports and recognizes DSCs, but does not own or manage them.
